A SUDCC transfers to CCAPP as a Certified Alcohol/Drug Counselor – Certified Addiction Specialist (CADC-CAS). The CADC-CAS is not an IC&RC credential and does not qualify for reciprocity to other states through IC&RC. Your expiration date will remain the same as it is with CADTP currently. Renewal is required before your expiration date and every two years thereafter. If you are currently expired with CADTP or will expire soon you will need to complete a renewal application after transferring to CCAPP.
